- 3♣ starts the round and must be included in the first play.
- Ranks climb 3 through ace, then 2 as the highest rank.
- Suits climb clubs, diamonds, hearts, then spades.
- Legal play sizes are singles, pairs, and five-card hands.
- Five-card hands climb straight, flush, full house, four of a kind plus one, and straight flush.
